Welcome to the 2103 Spiritmuv Meditation Challenge.
When we stop and listen to our lives, when we still ourselves long enough to stop the chatter and go within, when we find ourselves pressed against sickness or despair or longing or worry or fear, when we dig deep enough through a run, or a chant, or a yoga posture where the only thing we have to hold onto is the breath of Spirit, we can finally hear the conversations that we have with ourselves. And what are they? When we really slow down and listen, what are we really telling ourselves? I can’t. We say that we can’t, but the universe’s blessing to us is that despite our lack of confidence, or our pride, or our doubt, or our fear, or our need to protect ourselves . . . we can. Not only can we – we are. Because through God’s amazing grace, we are. The sweetest most honest, most deliberate, most engaging sound is the silence, the amazing grace of silence listening and speaking us all at once: silence is the sound of grace, how sweet the sound that tells us that we can.
I once was lost but now am found, was blind, but now I see.
How precious did that Grace appear the hour I first believed.
When we’ve been here ten thousand years bright shining as the sun. We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we’ve first begun.
We are amazing because we are. I am amazing because I AM. I AM and I can. I am amazing because I am. I AM and I can. I am amazing because I AM. I AM and I can.
