I LOVE YOU, AND I AM FREE: Our Daily Meditation – April 11, 2016

SPRING 44

In Luke 6:27, Jesus says “but I say to you who hear,
love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.”
We are revolted by that thought.
We want to hate our enemies because we believe that they have power over us,
but by hating them – we give them our energy.
Loving our enemies anoints us with the same consciousness that Christ had.
It lifts us above the shame of mediocrity and frees us to be the best success that there is
– a victory that isn’t limited by those around us.
Loving our enemies allows us to be liberated in the freedom of loving every aspect of our being
– those parts of us that don’t appear to be good enough,
those parts of us that have not yet expressed the fullness of life,
those parts of us that try to keep us from being the best that we are.
But when I love my enemies, I am more remarkable than they.
When I love my enemies, my net is cast in a sea of unlimited good,
and my harvest is reaped before I even sow.
When I love my enemies,
my light shines through darkness like a magnanimous ray
that is all-good, all-knowing, all-powerful.
When I love my enemies and do good to those who hate me,
I wear the invincible joy of Christ as me,
and I give birth to the me that loves beyond the physical,
and opens the doors of heaven to God loving through me.
I forgive you beyond all forgiveness today –
you who hurt me, you who betrayed me,
you who used me,
you who lost me,
you who ignored me,
you who called me last,
and I love you.
I love you.
I love you, and I am free.
