MY SOUL IS THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD: January 9, 2017

“The jivan mukta (one who is “freed while living”),
having dissolved his ego-awareness in infinite consciousness,
no longer develops any new karma of his own.
Any deed he does from then on will accrue to the benefit of others
— who still, by the vortices of energy created by their own egos,
can benefit from the good deeds he performs for them.
He himself, however, remains untouched even by good karma.”
Paramhansa Yogananda from The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita: Explained By Paramhansa Yogananda,
meditation11
Our souls are the Spirit in which Paul said we live and move and have our being.
My soul is the true image and likeness of God taught in Genesis 1:26.
The soul is not the temptation but the absolute good that
blesses us despite our inability to see sometimes that the Lord is good,
and real, and everywhere present.

The soul is the I AM that I AM, beyond the world,
the divine invitation of triumph that does not know defeat.
