I WALLOW IN GOD’S GRACE, PROTECTION AND LOVE: March 25, 2017

“If you live in a constant attitude of listening,
as if you were expecting your guidance and direction, protection,
and all good from within instead of from without,
that is exactly how your life becomes, like Paul’s!
‘I live, yet not I; but Christ liveth in me.’
You are the instrument but only by listening and listening.
Then divine grace takes over,
and that grace does not fight evil, sin, or disease.
It just lives Its own life and never finds opposition,
just as God finds no opposition.”

In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus teaches us not to” worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’
or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the pagans run after all these things,
and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Sometimes the word righteousness throws us off.
We think that it depends on us, but righteousness is pure Spirit.
The kingdom of God is pure love.
We can try to limit it with our doubt and our confusion and our fear,
but it remains untouched.
What we often fail to do is go to the kingdom, get inside of it, surrender in it, wallow in it
– become one with the Kingdom of Love.
Where is it?  Jesus said it is not outside of you, beloved, it is within.
With the same desire that you have to see your soul mate,
with the same passion that you have to be found by lasting love,
with the same determination that you have to succeed in your career,
I want you pull off your cares and concerns and wallow in the Kingdom of Love.
Put your feet in it.  Get messy in it.  Let it fill your heart with the joy of it.
Be grateful for it.  Dance through it.  Bake in it.
Enjoy its gentle breezes and linger in its lasting touch –
not in the flesh, but in the Spirit.
Know it, really know it for yourself.

Say throughout this meditation to yourself and know throughout the day,
“I wallow in the Kingdom of Love.”
